The Headshot
Where we can shoot
I hire a studio for each session. These are the two I suggest, both in East London, and the hire for either one is part of my price. You do not have to use them.
How to get there.
Studio Monox, Royal Victoria
The Pump House, 30 Seagull Lane, London E16 1YP
Three minutes’ walk from Royal Victoria DLR, beside the dock. From the City and Canary Wharf it is the quicker of the two.
Paid parking on site. It is not step-free.
Mons Studio, Hackney Wick
2 Schwartz Wharf, London E9 5GU
Two minutes’ walk from Hackney Wick Overground.
You can get in without stairs, and there is a changing room. Parking at the studio on weekdays between 11 and 5 if I ask for it ahead, or paid street parking nearby.
If you use a wheelchair, tell me first and I will check with the studio.
| From | Studio Monox | Mons Studio |
|---|---|---|
| Liverpool Street | 21 min | 25 min |
| Bank | 24 min | 27 min |
| Canary Wharf | 15 min | 29 min |
| London Bridge | 20 min | 35 min |
| Oxford Circus | 36 min | 33 min |
Fastest route from each station to the studio door, as TfL plans it on a weekday at 10am.
Or somewhere else.
Your office or home. I bring everything and set up in about an hour. Ideally a room of around 15 square metres or more. More room is easier to work in, but I am fairly flexible.
Outdoors, if you want daylight and somewhere real behind you.
A studio you already like. Send me the name and I will check it is free on your date. If it costs more to hire than Studio Monox or Mons Studio, I add the difference to your quote and tell you before I book anything.
When you get in touch, tell me where you would like to shoot. If you are not sure, say where you are coming from and I will pick a studio.
