What corporate headshots cost in London (2026)

Most corporate headshots in London cost £99 to £500 for one person. On a team day it’s £24 to £200 a head, and the more of you there are, the lower it goes.

A team day means one photographer sets up in your office and everyone comes through in slots. If somebody’s asked you to sort this out, you’re probably just trying to work out whether the number you’ve been given is a fair one. I’ve been photographing London teams for ten years, and I couldn’t find anywhere that simply told you. So I read a dozen price lists and put them in one place. Almost every figure below is somebody else’s. Mine are at the end.

The short answer

These are other London photographers’ prices, per head. Team size moves the number more than anything else.

The ranges are wide because what you get for the money varies more than the money does. And only photographers who publish are in there, which leaves the top of the market out: the dearest studios I found all quote privately.

Why the number is hard to find

Plenty of London photographers will tell you what one person costs. Far fewer will tell you what a team costs, and a team is usually what you’re asking about.

I understand why. Every job is a bit different, and a number on a website is something people hold you to. But it does leave you ringing round for quotes just to work out whether the first one was reasonable. You’re about to spend real money on something you can’t see in advance, and it’s fair to want somewhere to start.

What the price actually buys

Headcount matters more than everything else put together. A lighting setup takes about an hour to build, and it costs the same whether one person walks through it or fifty. So the more of you there are, the less each one costs.

The next one almost nobody asks about is how many retouched photos come back. One London studio prices it in the open: £690 for up to twenty people at one photo each, or £860 for up to fifteen at three each. Same half day, fewer people, more pictures.

Time is the thing that hardly changes. A cheap team day and an expensive one both give each person about nine to twelve minutes. Ten is comfortable. Under five and it shows, because there’s no time to look at the pictures together and go again, so you keep whatever happened in the first thirty seconds.

That £99 for one person is real, and four London studios publish it: a fifteen minute slot and one retouched photo. Below about £40 a head for a team under twenty, though, something has usually been cut, because there aren’t enough people to spread the setup across. On a sixty or a hundred-person day the same number is just arithmetic.

Travel is the other one that hides. Some photographers include zones one and two, some bill it, and some say nothing at all.

Three questions settle most quotes. How many retouched photos per person, which is the biggest difference between two numbers, and the one everyone forgets. Whether travel’s in the price. And how many minutes each person gets.

What actually goes wrong on the day

It’s hardly ever the photography, it’s the schedule.

Booked slots run at five or six an hour and hold all day. “Come down when you’re free” doesn’t, and by eleven you’ve got three people waiting and nobody at all at half past two.

That costs you the thing you booked it for. People squeezed in at the end look squeezed in, and a rushed ten minutes looks like a rushed ten minutes in the picture. Some of your team won’t get done at all, so you’re chasing them for weeks while half your website has new photos and half doesn’t. It’s not much fun from where I’m standing either, but you’re the one left with the gap.

The fix is a slot list, and it has to come from your side. You can see everyone’s diary and I can’t, so you’re the only one who knows who is on a call at eleven and who is out on Thursday. Tell me the headcount and I’ll tell you how long the day needs and how many people an hour it takes. You put the names against the times, and send a note round a week before saying what to wear and roughly when they’re up.

One thing that usually isn’t a problem is the room. I need about three metres behind where people stand, and a meeting room with the blinds down is close to perfect. Daylight isn’t needed and is sometimes a nuisance.

What I charge

One person, from £450: up to two hours and twelve retouched photos.

Teams, in your office, priced per head.
Up to six: from £900.
Up to sixteen: from £2,000.
Forty or more: from £6,000, over two days on site.
Sixty and up: a volume day, from £2,000 a day.

Travel is included within Zone 1 on the £2,000 and £6,000 days. On the small-team day it goes on top, and outside Zone 1 it goes in the quote.

Either way you see the photos as they’re taken, choose your own from a gallery afterwards, and the retouched files come back within seven working days.

Nobody goes back to their desk without a headshot they like. If somebody’s unhappy they say so inside their slot and we do it again there and then. On an individual session it goes further: if you don’t like the photos at the end of it, you don’t pay.

What it looks like when it goes right

A headshot day that’s gone well is one you stop thinking about afterwards. The photos go up, people use them, and nobody comes back to you about it.

You can usually see in a picture whether somebody was given enough time. That’s the difference the price is really buying, long after everyone has forgotten what the day cost.
